They may be called wine racks, but they're great for displaying much more than merlot. I love when I discover dual uses for things around the house. File this one under the "style" category of Crafty Life and Style.
A friend of mine collects rolling pins...a less expensive alternative to collecting wine, I suppose. She uses various wine racks to display the long, short, little, and fat rolling pins she has accumulated over the years. They fit perfectly and offer a fun and funky style. Anything with this general shape would work well, like your rolls of yarn in the craft room....or...maybe you can just start your own rolling pin collection. I bet you'll never look at a wine rack the same again.
